Baby Boomers Generation

Ninetendo Wii Sports

Nintendo Wii Sports disc comes with your console, and has a nice variety of games to give you a good introduction to style of play available.

You can play Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Bowling, and Boxing (using the controller and nun chucks).

All of the games are fun and you can challenge your friends and family to see who gets the highest scores.

In Tennis, you'll hold the controller just as you would a regular racket, and by watching your Mii on screen, you'll sever and return just as you would in a real tennis game.  You can serve overhand, hit back-hand, and so on.  If you miss, your Mii will sometimes spin around in a circle, which is pretty amusing!

In Baseball, you'll hold the controller like you would a bat, and you'll have a chance to swing along with your Mii on screen.  The closer to performing as you would in real life, the better your performance in the game, so really give it your all.

In Golf, you'll hold the controller and stand just like you do on the golf course.  Your Mii mimics your moves, and you can hook, slice, and drive very much like your real life game.

In Bowling you'll need a little extra room to make your approach to the lane, and you'll hold your controller in a grip similar to an actual bowling ball.  You can line up your Mii to help compensate for hooks and curves, and your form is just as important as it is when you're at the alley.

In Boxing, you'll use both the controller and the nunchucks (which both come with the console) to punch your way through a round with your Mii.

All in all, it's a great introduction and a fun evening competition.  Adding a few extra controllers and having your friends set up their own Mii's will enliven the action and keep you all laughing.
